FNG will enhance connectivity

Stakeholders in the NCR realty say that the completion of FNG Expressway will further improve connectivity between Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurgaon
From Noida side FNG Expressway (Farid abad-Noida-Ghazi abad Expressway) originates from Sector 63 adjoining NH-24 touching Sectors 118, 119, 121, 122, 139A, 139 B, 137, 142, 143, 150, and 168 and terminates at Faridabad through Dadri-Surajpur Road that connects to Kulesra Hindon river belt.
From Ghaziabad's entry point, FNG will connect Noida through NH-24, for which an underpass, or a flyover, has been proposed.
Noida authority officials say that to provide fast connectivity through FNG Expressway the junction on the road towards Greater Noida West (Noida Extension) before Hindon river bridge near Sector 122, an over-bridge near Sector 142 on NoidaGreater Noida Expressway, an approach road, a bridge over Yamuna river from Noida side, and a bridge over Yamuna river from Formula One race track side of Greater Noida to Yamuna river are re quired. While coming from Sectors 118, 122, 121, 137, and 142 FNG will intersect Noida Expressway through a proposed world-class roundabout project near Sectors 142 and 168.
Greater Noida and Faridabad authorities have put forth a joint proposal to connect both the regions through a bridge over Yamuna at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore. Rama Raman, chair man and CEO of Noida authority, says: “To speed up the muchawaited connectivity proj ect, a demolition drive is being conducted by the authority to remove massive encroachments along the FNG corridor. Today, FNG has become one of the most important infra structural projects not just for real estate devel opment but also in easing the enormous traffic in the re gion traffic. Officials have been on their toes to resolve all legal issues between farmers and the Noida authority so that work does not come to a standstill.“
